Register Sanskrit as second language during census

Namaste, Pranam, Vanakkam, Aadab & Good Evening,

Our Government of India is starting with census.

Please register "Sanskrit" as 2nd language in the form which they would like
you to fill it up.

There are tons of people across the globe including India who want to kill &
demolish our "Sanskrit" language.

Reasons could be anything.

But please don't allow them to do so.
Officers who are going to visit your home? Are going to ask this question to
you as well as to your family members. Empower them today only. You can also
think of writing it on a piece of paper and hang out that paper near main
entrance door so that you and your family don't forget.

In last census, only 14,135 fellow citizens wrote "Sanskrit" as their mother
language.

You may be speaking Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Kokani, Marathi,
Hindi, Gujarati, Maithali, Bengali, Assamese, Oriya, Punjabi, Dongari or
Urdu language. And that's ok with me and all.

But please do write "Sanskrit" as 2nd language.

Remember, on day to day basis there are tons of words which we all use as it
is written in "Sanskrit".

Let me give some example
"Stree (Female)", "Tirth/Tirtham", "Prasad/Prasadam", "Muhurt/Muhurtam",
"Naivaidya/Naivaidyam", "Suvas (Smell)", "Netra/Netram (Eyes), "Jal
(Water)", "Bhojan (Lunch/dinner)", "kunku/Kumkum/Tilak"  & many more.
Over & above, we also give "Sanskrit" names to our kids like Narayan,
Satyanarayan, Soundarya, Murugan, Ganesh, Ganapati, Ganesha, Krishna, Sri
Krishna, Shrikrishna, Pinackpani, Laxmi, Saraswati, Venkatesh, Sri Hari,
Shankar, Kartik/Karthik, Satyabhama, Subhadra, Ganga, Gangadevi,  & so on.
Some people also give "Sanskrit" names to their software products like
"Shree-Lipi". One of the oldest & largest sold Indian language font package
from India. Modular InfoTech have been giving only "Sanskrit" names to their
software products and they are selling in huge numbers. i was associated
with them for more than 7 years.

Some people also give "Sanskrit" names to their businesses.
Our temple names are in "Sanskrit"

Our family God/Goddesses names are also in "Sanskrit", Laxmi, Ganesh,
Vyadeshwar, Hari Hareshwar, Saraswati, etc.
Our Veda's are in "Sanskrit"
Our various "Shloka's" and "Mantra's" are also in "Sanskrit"
Our "Bhagwat Gita" is also in "Sanskrit" and which is used every day across
all the courts.
Now the question is? When we use & speak so many "Sanskrit" words in our day
to day life? Why not declare "Sanskrit" as our 2nd language & give due
respect to her?

i am sure you will not disagree on this simple observation that i have done
using common sense.

i am also sure you must have heard a famous quote in English and it goes
like this "Sanskrit" is mother of all Indian languages.

Census is going to start from May 2010. It is well known fact that today we
all Indian citizens speak & use many Indian languages (in home, in office,
in society & in Nation). While doing so we use & we speak around 50% of
"Sanskrit" words as it is. We all may not be noticing it. But that's ok with
me.
At the end of the day, let's not run away from the truth.

Let's give due respect to "Sanskrit"

Let's declare "Sanskrit" as our 2nd language of communication.
Let's protect "Mother of all Indian Languages"
If we don't do it? No one else is going to protect it.
i am going to do it.

My family is going to do it.
You are also a member of my family.
Now would you please do it in your home and ask all your relatives, friends,
schoolmates, collegemates, subordinates, colleagues, suppliers & customers
to do so?

Please!

Let's spread this message all across India and all across globe where ever
Indians are located. Spread this like a wild fire.

If we send this message to 100 contacts within our network and i am sure
reaching out all across India will not be a difficult task.
